지서니를 위하야 고딩시절 존경하는 이 진홍 선생님의 열강에도 막무하고
열심히 졸았던 실력으로 해석을 하자면...

주제:남성 대 여성
You may not know that many non-living things have a gender; for example...
많은 무생물에도 쌕스가 있다는 것을 당신은 모르고 있을 수도 있다. 예를 들면
1) Ziploc Bags -- They are Male, because they hold everything in, but you can see right through them.
지프락 백--이것은 남성이다. 왜냐하면 모든 것을 담아놓지만 결국 속이 훤히 디다 보인다.
2) Copiers -- They are Female, because once turned off, it takes a while to warm them up again. It's an effective reproductive device if the right buttons are pushed, but can wreak havoc if the wrong buttons are pushed.
카피 머신--여성에 속한다. 이유는 한번 맛이 가면 다시 돌아오기위한 충분한 시간을 요한다.
사용에 유의하면 아주 효능적인 재생산성 물체이지만 한번의사용 실수로 영원히 망가질 우려가 있다.
3) Tire -- Male, because it goes bald & it's often over-inflated.
타이어--남성. 홀딱 벗겨지거나 가끔 씨잘대기없이 부푼다.
4) Hot Air Balloon -- Male, because, to get it to go anywhere, you have to light a fire under it, & of course, there's the hot air part.
핫 에어 볼룬.. 남성. 이것은 부르는곳은 없지만 아무곳이나 기웃거린다. 아래에서 불을 지펴야만 제 구실을 한다. 물론 뜨거운 부분도 있다.
5) Sponges -- Female, because they're soft, squeezable & retain water.
스폰찌--여성. 부드럽고, 압착과 보유가 자유롭다.
6) Web Page -- Female, because it's always getting hit on.
웹페이지--여성, 원하는 것을 바로 찾아낸다.
7) Subway -- Male, because it uses the same old lines to pick people up.
지하철- 남성, 항상 오래된 수단을 사용한다.
8) Hourglass -- Female, because over time, the weight shifts to the bottom.
모래시계-- 여성, 시간이 흐름에 따라 무게의 중심이 아래로 쏠린다.
9) Hammer -- Male, because it hasn't changed much over the last 5,000 years, but it's handy to have around.
햄머--남성, 5000년 동안 결코 변하지 않았다. 그러나 옆에 두면 편리할때도 있다.
10) Remote Control -- Female....Ha! You thought it'd be male. But consider this -- it gives a man pleasure, he'd be lost without it, & while he doesn't always know the right buttons to push, he keeps trying.
리모트 콘트롤-- 물론 여성.... 남성으로 착각하셨을수도... 그러나 생각해 보시라..
이것은 남성에게 즐거움을 선사한다. 남성들은 정확한 버튼을 누르기 위해 무단히 노력할 것이며, 그것을 찾을때까지 남성들은 이성을 잃을것이다.
