Today I fly back to LA and tommorrow to Incheon Seoul.

But something happened this morning, so that I must delay my flight to LA from Victoia.

I'm very sorry to all who are waiting my arrival in LA during daytime. (Here is YVR.)

Thank you all again, I 'll write here again in Korean soon.

This morning, I went aboard again from Swartz Bay, Victoria  and sailed to Tsawwassen Bay, Vancouver.

The scenery with islands, far snow-headed mountains in the skyline opposite site, sea birds...are really beautiful

and as a marine scientist it is a wonderful experience to see those I've studied from books for long time.

Especially the marine algae cast ashore on the coast of Vancouver Isl! I've known them for long time  but for the first time I met them.

May I introduce them to you? Postelsia, Nereocystis, Fucus..... those seaweeds we do not have in Korean sea.

But my sister collected Laminaria(=Dashima in Korean) as she always does there, on Victoria coast.

I will come again and again to British Columbia to observe ancient temperate forest in Tofino, and their marine organisms.

Let's go Tofino together to the world of the First Nation of North America someday~
